Character Information-
Character’s name: PRIDE
Fandom: OC from FullMetal Alchemist
Elementals: Metal and Darkness
Job: Researcher and head of a laboratory studying the magic of life energy.
History: A logn time ago Ed made a deal with the Gate Keeper, Flammel, and for his brothers life and a way to keep his sanity and make sure all the power he had gained that last time going through the gate did not take over his mind Ed was willing to take part in the Keepers experiment and also become his apprentice. But Ed forgot all about this for Flammel wiped his memory as soon as the deal was made until the day when Edo was fully matured. Edo or Pride as Dante had called him after meeting him in the dark forest was a very odd Homunculus if you could call him that. Although he was like every other homunculus Pride had some added powers and these powers where mostly brought to him thanks to being the excess power Ed had given up.
You see Pride is a homunculus who can feel no pain and is also invulnerable to Alchemy and also can use a certain type of magic. But you see with these powers are also guards much like a check and balance system. Though he in invulnerable to Alchemy he can’t use alchemy himself even when he was in Ed’s body, and though he feels no pain there is two ways to cause him pain as well as kill him. One is the tattoo all over his body that when activated by alchemy can harm him and cause his molecules to separate in that area they alchemitized, and another is a Blue jewel which is his heart, or otherwise is a hardened molecule structure made by crystallizing Ed’s alchemy. When someone puts pressure to this jewel he becomes ill and weak and if this jewel was smashed he would die and in the most horrifying of ways. Because of this Ed made it his job after finally separating from Edo thanks to Flammel and after becoming the Gate Keeper by taking off Flammels head, to re absorb the power and give Edo a chance to live.
The reason for this was because Edo had started showing signs of humanity after meeting Al’s and Laguna’s Homunculus sides. Aru and Edo had Left Anu behind and years after they stayed together there relationship growing closer since Aru had helped Ed get back the stone and in turn saving Edo. Aru was actually the one who renamed Pride Edo as Anu renamed Sloth as Aru. Later on after Edo took a trip to another world and studied after the people there, making him even more human and also gaining a strange accent, he stayed with Aru and became Lobsters or lovers forever. Edo’s trip to the world though was a major event in his life though. On that world he gained a new power in which he could mold the life energy’s around him into a magic called Elentrix, or life Magic, and also he found a way to erase the Oroborus tattoo along with the power Dante had over them with it. Now he has left again to research a substitute for red stones.
